Even on a good day, most of us have a hard time keeping up a healthy lifestyle. When we’re in transition, a time when routine goes out the window, maintaining wellness can be an incredible challenge. But the effort is worth it, according to our speakers at the June SHIFT Forum. Join us Monday, June 1, as three experts from The Marsh, a Minnetonka-based center for balance and fitness, share science-backed tips for maintaining fitness, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle through change and transition.

About our speakers

Heidi MoonHeidi Moon, program director of The Marsh, has two decades of wellness industry experience, ranging from developing a Tibetan medical destination spa in upstate New York, to creating a pre- and postnatal wellness center in New York City. Heidi has a BA from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is also an American Council on Exercise-certified fitness instructor.

Kathryn HernkeKathryn Hernke, registered dietitian of The Marsh, has seven years of clinical, home care and community dietetics experience providing nutrition assessment, education, cardiac rehab, weight management, menu development, food allergy and other nutrition specialties. She earned a BS from the University of Minnesota and an MS from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences.

Evan StrewlerExercise physiologist Evan Strewler is director of health and fitness of The Marsh. Previously, he was a metabolic specialist at Optum Health Performance, a personal training director at LA Fitness, and strength coach at Wayzata High School. Evan holds an MS from the College of St. Scholastica.
