June 8 2020 Forum: Staying Visible and Connected in a Mobile Workplace

Staying Visible and Connected in a Mobile Workplace

In the ever-evolving workplace, managers recognize the advantages of virtual teams and employees, but will working from home put you at risk of “out of sight – out of mind”?

With e-mail, Skype and video, employees are almost as connected as if they were in the office, right? Not quite. When the workplace is flexible, barriers of time and distance can put employees visibility at risk. It can be challenging to stay connected to managers, co-workers, clients and customers who are thousands of miles away.

Staying Visible and Connected is a workshop filled with solid tips, real-life examples and practical advice to help employees stay connected in a mobile workplace and learn to use online tools and technology to cultivate powerful relationships with their managers, co-workers, clients and customers.

In this session, you will learn:

  • Warning signs to help you discern when your visibility may be at risk.
  • How to apply one “golden rule” to immediately increase your visibility.
  • How to use Communication Touch Points™ to stay connected with your managers, co-workers, clients and customers.
  • Three easy steps to implement your Communication Action Plan performance?
Join us to hear best practices and ideas from subject matter expert Kathy Kacher, and learn how you can take steps to help your career grow and thrive in a virtual work environment.
